TYLER ANDAL
Born in Nashville, Tyler has lived his entire life in White House, TN. His fiddling journey began the summer he turned 12
when his parents introduced him to fiddle tunes at the Glasgow Highland Games of Barren River, KY after several
classical violin lessons. That summer he began attending fiddle camps learning Irish, Scottish and Old Time fiddling and
playing Bluegrass by ear. He spent weekends attending festivals, contests competing, jamming, and winning awards.
His interests have since expanded into Jazz, Western Swing, Classical, Funk, hip-hop, rap, and classic rock bringing him
back full circle to Americana.
Tyler homeschooled through high school and started college at 15, graduating from Middle Tennessee State
University at 19. He has his BS in Production Engineering, minor in Music Industry and utilizes these
skills while not touring or performing. He loves session work.
His professional life began at 15 with the Ryan Holladay Bluegrass Band and now tours with
Futureman's (Roy Wooten) Black Mozart Ensemble and The GreenCards.
Tyler plays John Silakowski 5 & 4 String fiddles.
